February 8th: Metabolic Surgery

Objectives:

  • Identify current surgeries available for weight loss.

  • Identify how gastric bypass bilopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch, sleeve gastrectomy and Lap Banding affect metabolism and metabolic disorders such as diabetes.

  • Identify vitamin derangements associated with metabolic surgery and how they are treated.

  • Review the differences between pediatric and adult eczema.

  • Discuss the role of allergy and allergy triggers with eczema.

  • Review different treatment options for eczema.

Target Audience: Internal Medicine, Family Practice, surgeons and all Interested Physicians.

February 15th: Pediatric Foot Conditions
