First Baby born at new Scharbauer Tower
As preparation for the move into the Scharbauer Tower was underway this
morning, around 5 a.m. Cynthia Rodriquez arrived at our West Campus in labor.
Doctors made the decision to let Cynthia give birth to her baby in the new
tower. Just two hours later, Cynthia gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Kassidy
Rodriquez, at 7:11 a.m. At 6 lbs and 191/2 inches long, Kassidy was the first
baby born in the new Scharbauer patient tower. Along with this birth, the
transfer of all other patients was a success and the move was completed by 9a.m.
