· Picks up meal tickets and food items for patient meal services prior to each meal. Uses a company vehicle to pick up items from main kitchen. · Puts together patient trays based on meal tickets and following diet guidelines. · Delivers cart with meals to nursing unit. (Nursing unit delivers meals to patients). Provides assistance with special requests for dietary preferences, snacks, as needed. · Picks up dirty tray carts from soiled utility rooms in patient tower. Properly unloads carts, cleans carts, and sanitizes carts so they can be recycled back up to patient tower for use. · Demonstrates proper storage of food service equipment, with minimal loss due to unintentional disposal or breakage. · Sweeps, mops, and maintains cleanliness of assigned areas as instructed by Foodservice Manager.
· Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. · Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive a company vehicle. · Must be self motivated and have good time management skills. · Must be able to effectively communicate information and respond to questions.
