Performs the essential duties, responsibilities and the primary functions of a Retenion/Recruiting Manager working with individuals at various levels within the organization to complete assigned job duties. Communicates effectively with Hospital employees and persons outside the organization and works to identify, assess and resolve problems/conflicts. Responsible for recruiting; interviewing, acts as liaison with employment/contractor agencies; works with background/reference/criminal history verification agency. Manages reports as related to recruiting and retention. Manages overall recruiting program including attendance at job fairs; advertising of open positions, etc. Responsible for orientation of new employees and orientation program. Responsible for service award ceremony and associated responsibilities. Assists with employee discipline. Maintains current knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, fair employment practice laws and regulations.
