Works collaboratively with the Information Systems Division, Clinical Departments and Sections, in addition to other Departments as necessary in problem solving issues related to Clinical Information Systems, communication, documentation, and in the implementation and maintenance of the Clinical Information System. Participates in the design and implementation of the Clinical Information System (CIS) as it pertains to clinical practice. Participates in in-service and comptuer training of current and incoming clinical staff, students, and faculty. Demonstrates knowledge and judgment necessary for performing all the duties of the Clinical Analyst.
Education and/or experience:
A mental development equivalent to completion of a 2 year college degree and includes an ability to apply principles of logic and scientific thought to a wide rang of intellectual problems.
Possess leadership skills, strong organizational skills, familiarity with department operations and feels comfortable working with computers. Three years experience as a clinical nurse in a hospital environment. Must have a current Texas license as a Registered Nurse.
The base pay for this position is $22.06/hr and is increased based upon applicable experience.
