Job Details: |
The Medical Assistant is a qualified individual with knowledge of aseptic technique and infection prevention. She/he is responsible for performing certain clinical and administrative duties under the supervision of licensed staff and patient coordinator. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and preparing and recovering of surgical patients. Administrative duties may include data entry, maintenance of supplies and equipment, and performance of appropriate quality control.
Education/Skills/Experience: Graduate from a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited medical assisting program. CMA(AAMA) Certification Experience in a hospital setting or medical assistance experience Working knowledge of Standard Precautions, phlebotomy technique Basic computer knowledge (date entry, word processing, Excel, Access/PowerPoint)
The base pay for this position is $9.09/hr and is increased based upon applicable experience
