Job Details: |
An Education Coordinator is a qualified individual with knowledge of the principles of adult learning. She/He will assess, project and plan education activities for nurses, patients, families and other healthcare providers. She/He will develp Continuing Nursing Education programs and in-services for staff education and license renewal. She/He will coordinate a nursing orientation for new nursing staff members. Maintains and updates database for employee's required training activities. Develops and reviews nursing policies and procedures for new products and/or change in practice.
Must have a minimum of five years experience in a hospital setting and possess a current State of Texas license as a Registered Nurse.
The base pay for this position is $26.35/hr and is increased based upon applicable experience.
