Vice President, Planning & Marketing
Marcy Madrid started her career in Public Relations at Midland Memorial Hospital in 2006, becoming the Director of Marketing and Public Relations in 2009. In 2014, Marcy began her role as Vice President of Planning and Marketing for Midland Health, a system of healthcare partners in Midland Texas, including Midland Memorial Hospital. In her current role, Marcy oversees strategic planning, community health outreach, marketing and public relations, sales as well as employee engagement and patient experience.
Before coming to MMH, Marcy was a morning show anchor and reporter for the local NBC affiliate, where she was recognized and awarded for her writing and storytelling skills by the Texas Association of Broadcasters. Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Marcy moved to Tennessee in the late 90s where she graduated with honors from Middle Tennessee State University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a double minor in Spanish and Political Science. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Marcy is very involved in the community and currently sits on several boards including the March of Dimes, Communities in Schools and Pink the Basin Inc., of which she was a founding member. She also volunteers in a leadership role at Mid-Cities Community Church.
