West Texas Therapy

West Texas Therapy (WTT) provides comprehensive Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy services. Our facility works with all medical doctors in the Permian Basin and a majority of medical doctors from across the state of Texas. WTT takes pride in that fact that each patient is treated by licensed personnel at each visit with each therapist providing extremely high quality care to each individual patient. 

Physical Therapy

Our Physical Therapy department offers orthopedic physical therapy, manual therapy, management of lymphedema, dry needling, and preventative instruction among many other services. Some of the health conditions benefiting from Physical Therapy include: 

  • Sports related injuries
  • Orthopedic conditions, including Arthritis
  • Post-Operative orthopedic conditions, including joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder, etc.)
  • Lymphedema
  • Spinal deficiencies, including back and neck problems
  • Strokes and/or head injuries  

Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapy department offers manual therapy, splinting and customized treatment programs to enable patients to return to normal daily activities. Some of the health conditions benefiting from Occupational Therapy include:  

  • Hand injuries
  • Upper extremity amputations
  • Post-Operative care
  • Arthritis involving hand and/or wrist
  • Tennis elbow
  • Strokes  

Speech-Language Pathology

Our Speech Therapy department offers diagnostic and customized treatment procedures for a variety of speech, fluency, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Services are offered for both pediatrics and adults. WTT is certified to offer swallowing assessments using the state of the art Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) procedure. Some of the health conditions benefiting from Speech Therapy include:  

  • Strokes and/or head injury
  • Swallowing disorders
  • Voice disorders
  • Articulation disorders
  • Stuttering
  • Head and neck cancer
  • Cognitive disorders
  • Pediatric language disorders
