Critical Care

The Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Midland Memorial Hospital is a specialized area designed to help treat patients requiring intensive care services and those with life threatening illnesses. These services include coronary artery bypass and graft procedures, ventilator care, neurology, sepsis, hypothermia and other complex surgeries. The unit has 48 beds capable of intensive monitoring. Each room contains medical booms with patient lifts in each boom, allowing for variable room set up and ease of moving patients.

Visitation hours include:
9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Only two visitors are allowed at the bedside at one time. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in CCU or the CCU waiting room.
