Notice of Public Hearing on Realigning Trustee Districts
According to the 2010 Census data, Midland County Hospital District’s director districts are not of sufficiently equal population and must be redrawn in order to comply with the “one-person, one-vote” (equal population) principle established by the U.S. Constitution.
The Board of Directors of Midland County Hospital District is considering new boundaries for its director districts and wants to hear from you. Tell us what you think about the preliminary director district plan at the public hearing described below:
Public Hearing on Redistricting Proposals
Time: 1:10 p.m. Date: Wednesday, March 28, 2012 Address: Midland Memorial Hospital Board Room 2200 West Illinois Avenue, Room A-4 Midland, Texas
The preliminary plan for the director districts will be available at the hearing and is available for public inspection during normal business hours at 2200 West Illinois, Administration Office, Monday through Friday from now until the date of the public hearing.
In addition, you need to be aware that the Board of Directors has adopted Guidelines for public participation. The Guidelines, among other things, require that comments be submitted in writing even if you make them orally at the hearing; all written comments are due by the close of the hearing.
