Welcome from our Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer
AONE Region 7 Board of Directors Candidate
There are many significant challenges facing AONE as we enact our vision of “shaping the future of healthcare” with the passing of healthcare reform. As nurse executives, we must embrace the AONE values of creativity, excellence, integrity, leadership, stewardship and diversity as we focus on:

- Exercising our voices in changing public policy.
- Mentoring new nursing leaders.
- Utilizing technologies in redesigning care delivery models.
- Collaborating with others in healthcare to improve outcomes.
I thank you for giving consideration to my candidacy. The election opens September 2nd, 2010. Please go to www.aone.org and cast your vote. This is a national election so you will be casting your vote for President-Elect as well as each Board of Director seat for Regions 5, 7, and 9 (3 year terms), plus Nominations Committee for Regions 2, 4, 6, and 8 (2 year terms).
